Job description
The role involves working as a Senior Process Integration Development Engineer within Intel's Foundry Manufacturing Development and Customer Engineering team. The focus is on leading scientific research to enable the manufacture of innovative device architectures. Candidates will engage in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to meet engineering specifications. This position also requires collaboration with manufacturing teams to ensure technology meets requirements and is effectively transferred.
Requirements
- The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field of study.
- 4+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience in one or more areas such as Semiconductor processing, Semiconductor fabrication, or nanotechnology.
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.
- Participate in the development of intellectual property.
- Integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
- Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing.
