The engineer will work on high-level features related to nutrition and chronic disease management, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and a passion for health technology.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with agentic development.

• Work with Executive Engineers and leadership to craft a roadmap for the Google Health app related to Metabolic Health.
• Scope out, estimate, and architect high-level features that help users achieve their nutrition and health goals.
• Design infrastructure to accelerate evaluations and develop clinical-grade AutoRaters.
• Mentor and lead other software engineers to enhance the quality of the team.
