The Senior Software Engineer for Android Bluetooth will lead the development of connectivity features to enhance user experiences across the Android ecosystem. This role is part of the Platforms and Devices team, which focuses on integrating advanced technologies and improving device connectivity. The engineer will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining the Android Connectivity stack, particularly for Bluetooth technologies. This position requires versatility and leadership to tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience programming in Java or C++.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with the Android platform, systems, AOSP, or application development.

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt it based on product updates.
• Triage product or system issues and debug by analyzing the sources of issues.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
