The Staff Security Engineer, Proactive Security role at DoorDash is part of the Proactive Security Engineering team, focusing on building security controls directly into Dasher products. This is a remote position based in the US, reporting to the Manager of the Proactive Security Engineering team.

• 10+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer at an Internet scale organization.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in AI Security, Account Security, and Product Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience securing large scale consumer application ecosystems handling millions of transactions per day.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex systemic issues.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Lead the technical direction and roadmap for hardening Dasher Security Products.
• Partner cross-functionally with various teams to build proactive security controls.
• Execute rigorous cross-brand AI enabled vulnerability discovery and automated remediation.
• Mentor and coach earlier career engineers, setting standards for Operational Excellence.
