Job description
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Industrial Water Wastewater Process Engineer / Design Manager to join their Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization Team. This role requires over 10 years of consulting engineering experience to support the growth of industrial water and wastewater design projects. The engineer will apply their expertise in various treatment processes and technologies while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. This position offers opportunities for technical mentoring and involvement in business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years of industrial wastewater experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer registration in one or more states.
- Valid US driver's license.
- Master's degree or PhD in environmental or chemical engineering is preferred.
- 12+ years of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Function as the process engineer on industrial water/wastewater projects.
- Apply processes and technologies for various treatment methods.
- Delegate engineering or scientific calculations/drawings to junior staff.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to implement treatment solutions.
- Participate in business development and prepare proposals for clients.
- Support or lead implementation of projects from study phase through operation.
- Provide leadership and coaching to project team members.
- Deliver guidance and feedback to support career development of junior staff.
- Travel as needed for client meetings and project site visits.
