Qualcomm Technologies is seeking a Senior Director to lead the strategy for rack architecture design and thermal implementation in data center systems. This role is crucial for transforming Qualcomm's silicon leadership into deployable designs for customers and ODMs. The Senior Director will work closely with various engineering teams and business units to ensure that rack platforms are designed for optimal performance and serviceability. The position involves significant collaboration with ODM/OEM partners and requires a deep understanding of hardware operations and deployment at scale.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Thermal, HW Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Around 18+ years of experience in server/data center hardware and rack-scale systems, including 10+ years in engineering leadership.
• 12+ years of direct, hands-on industry experience designing server and rack-level hardware.
• Deep working knowledge of liquid cooling technologies and emerging trends in thermal management.
• Proven ownership of hardware operations from NPI to volume ramp and fleet health practices.

• Set the multi-generation rack strategy and architecture roadmap for rack-scale platforms.
• Own executive ODM/OEM and customer relationships to shape joint roadmaps and design partnerships.
• Drive the liquid-cooling and high-density power strategy to maintain Qualcomm's industry leadership.
• Ensure rack platforms transition from NPI through validation to reliable, high-volume field deployment.
• Engage in industry standards and represent the rack platform strategy with customers and partners.
