The Senior Data Analyst role in the Monetization Strategy and Licensing team at Microsoft focuses on improving operational efficiency through data insights and models. • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
• 4+ years of experience in building PowerBI dashboards
• 2+ years of experience in building semantic models on Microsoft Fabric
• Experience building extract transform and load (ETL/ELT) solutions in Azure or any other cloud platform

• Lead AI and Automation systems performance reporting, leveraging telemetry from our automation systems to provide insights to our partners.
• Partner with business and engineering leaders to set up KPIs to measure effectiveness of AI automation.
• Identify connections across data sources and contribute to the development of analytical frameworks as you develop an understanding of the business.
• Leverage your understanding of the business to examine projects through a customer and/or stakeholder-oriented focus.
• Identify and leverage appropriate sources of data and contribute to the development of recommendations.
• Determine appropriate analytical techniques and critically evaluate assumptions.
• Share and simplify relevant findings and insights and ensure presented results are accessible and accurate.
• Support and/or consult with other teams and identify relevant data-driven recommendations.
• Recommend efficiency improvements for core work and evaluate the viability of automated data collection methods.
• Understand linkages between analytical models and contribute to the review process.
• Work within and across teams to ensure alignment in data sources and processes and engage stakeholders to act on opportunities.
• Stay abreast of privacy requirements and ensure data have undergone appropriate reviews.
