Knack Works is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Junior to Mid-Level DevOps engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure in the Chantilly, VA office. The role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in managing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, servers, networks, and IT infrastructure. • 3-7 years of hands-on Windows Server OS and Linux system administration experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Current active TS with SCI eligibility and willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Ability to obtain a CompTIA Security+ CE certification within the first 6 months of employment

• Manage systems hardware and software infrastructure for both on-prem and in the cloud
• Provide hardware and software support for users, customers, and personnel
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, implement, and test features and functionality
• Maintain and provide technical expertise in all areas of hardware, software, and networking
• Execute and coordinate the end-to-end remediation of critical and high-risk vulnerabilities
• Deploy, upgrade, and manage containerized applications in a Kubernetes Cluster
• Automate infrastructure tasks using tools such as Ansible, Python, or Bash
