Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join their Transportation team in Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas for the Summer of 2027. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale transportation projects while applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, learning about industry-standard procedures and software. The role focuses on water resources and transportation drainage, providing valuable insights into the field of transportation engineering.

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Work in a team environment with other project engineers on hydrologic, hydraulic, and drainage analysis and design of transportation-related projects.
• Perform routine engineering tasks requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision.
• Provide support in the preparation of contract drainage drawings, specifications, and estimates.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the Drainage Group Leader and team members.
