The Sr. Software Engineer will be part of the ASE Core Services team at Apple, focusing on building and enhancing large-scale systems that power various customer-facing applications like Apple Music and the App Store. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features that enhance user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on performance and scalability, contributing to the development of APIs for the developer community. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, with a Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of JVM or functional languages such as Clojure.
• Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs or other API technologies.
• Familiarity with NoSQL or document-oriented data stores like Apache Solr, Redis, or MongoDB is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
