This role is part of the AWS Supply Chain Management Team, focusing on developing next-generation supply chain solutions and enterprise-class products. The team is composed of diverse professionals including software, hardware, and network engineers, and emphasizes collaboration to achieve high standards for safety and security. Candidates will work on building scalable distributed systems using the latest AWS technologies. The position requires a passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality designs.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 3+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

• Design and deliver enhancements to existing features as well as entirely new features independently.
• Apply domain knowledge of fulfillment systems and concepts to communicate requirements and proposals with stakeholders.
• Operate effectively in a high-ambiguity domain, translating vague business problems into concrete technical designs.
• Lead projects independently, collaborating with SDEs and defining project plans.
• Mentor teammates through code and design reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Proactively identify, improve, and streamline the team's engineering processes.
