The Security Incident Response Analyst role at Amazon's Security team focuses on detecting, investigating, and responding to threats against a classified AI Factory for a U.S. Government program. The team is dedicated to protecting customer trust and operates on a fully air-gapped platform. The analyst will work closely with detection engineers, SOC analysts, and forensics to maintain a defensible system. This position requires a proactive approach to incident response and collaboration with government counterparts.

• The candidate must be a US Citizen and possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• A minimum of 3 years of incident response, SOC, or security operations experience is required.
• Experience in triaging and developing security alerts and response automation is necessary.
• Knowledge of networking, security, databases, and operating systems is essential.
• Relevant security certifications such as GCIH, GSEC, Security+, CISSP, CISA, or CISM are required.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government or IC incident-reporting requirements is preferred.

• Monitor security telemetry and triage, investigate, and escalate alerts on the disconnected platform.
• Drive incidents through the full response lifecycle, including containment, eradication, recovery, and after-action.
• Develop and tune detection content and response playbooks based on incident learnings.
• Coordinate incident reporting and handoffs with the ISSM and Government counterparts.
