Job description

Apple is seeking a proactive design engineering lead to join their Silicon Engineering team, focusing on Analog and Mixed-Signal (AMS) IPs for custom SoCs. This role involves collaborating with top engineers from concept to mass production on advanced IPs that power Apple's consumer devices and data centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AMS design and leadership experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the silicon technology behind Apple's iconic products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in AMS IP design, product development, or design engineering management.
  • Hands-on design experience with AMS IPs for SerDes, LPDDR, HBM, PLLs, and/or LDOs.
  • Experience in developing or validating high-reliability IPs for data center infrastructure.
  • Proven crisis leadership in high-pressure environments.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that AMS IPs for Apple's custom SoCs meet high standards of technical excellence and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineers across disciplines from concept to mass production.
  • Drive alignment and accountability across technical teams and multi-functional organizations.
  • Engage and inform executive audiences effectively.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of IP development methodologies and EDA tools.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
