This role involves working on a newly formed team at Apple to create on-demand interfaces that respond to user needs. As one of the first engineers, you will collaborate with design and AI teams to set technical direction and establish engineering standards. The position requires a balance between interface design and building systems that generate user interfaces. You will also engage in productizing execution runtimes and enhancing security around them.

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Expert-level Swift, with production SwiftUI or comparable declarative UI experience
• Experience leading an application or framework end to end, including its public API and its adopters
• Hands-on experience building user-facing features with generative models
• Experience setting technical direction across teams and mentoring engineers

• Partner with Apple's design studio and AI teams to invent new interface paradigms
• Set the technical direction and shape the team's culture
• Design and implement the UI frameworks for generated interfaces
• Productize the execution runtime and enhance security boundaries
• Drive generation quality through prompt iteration and automated evaluation
• Collaborate with various teams across Apple to take features from idea to shipping
