The Network Infrastructure Engineer role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focuses on building and scaling network systems for Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions. • 3+ years of technical work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in an advanced technical program
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
• General comprehension of the various components and sub-components of data center infrastructure
• CCNA or equivalent level networking certification
• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF and other R&S technologies

• Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and perform quality assurance activities.
• Support Network Engineering deployment activities during scheduled change management windows.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues.
• Manage work and priorities through the ticketing system and collaborate with various stakeholders.
