Job description

The Advertising & Marketing Performance Intelligence (AMPI) team is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) to develop, deploy, and scale robust ML and GenAI solutions in a production environment. This role involves building ML infrastructure for production models and collaborating with various teams to implement automated decision-making algorithms. The MLE will work on projects that impact millions of advertisers globally, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies in AI/ML systems. The position offers exposure to innovative tools and practices in the field of machine learning and marketing automation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 1+ years of building large-scale machine-learning infrastructure for online recommendation, ads ranking, personalization, or search experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Data and Applied Scientists to process structured and unstructured data inputs.
  • Scale ML and LLM infrastructure while optimizing costs, GPU utilization, and memory management.
  • Create and deliver reusable technical assets to accelerate the adoption of ML, Optimization, and GenAI.
  • Design and maintain production-grade large-scale distributed training systems.
  • Optimize AWS AI/ML infrastructure costs and ensure efficient model training.
  • Develop robust monitoring and debugging tools for training workflows.
  • Investigate design approaches and prototype new GenAI and ML models.
