The Embedded Software Engineer will join the PSC team at AWS Hardware Engineering to develop embedded software for critical power infrastructure in data centers. This role focuses on accelerating firmware migration initiatives across a massive server fleet while ensuring security and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in firmware and embedded systems, contributing to the reliability of AWS infrastructure. Collaboration with engineers across AWS and external partners will be essential to enhance infrastructure security and performance.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of ARM CPUs
• Experience writing low level drivers
• Knowledge in one of the communication protocols I2C, SPI, USB, UART
