As a Systems Engineer II in Amazon's Robotics Technology Deployment team, you will oversee the planning, installation, and launch of industrial automation technologies across North America's fulfillment network. This role requires strong technical skills in deploying robotic equipment and managing complex projects. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure successful deployment while traveling extensively to project sites. The team is dedicated to improving operational metrics and driving continuous improvement in deployment processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting robotics systems or other complex mechanical-electrical or networked systems.
• 5+ years of experience in project management related to the deployment of large-scale industrial robotics.
• 5+ years of experience using project management and supply management tools/software.
• Experience working with technical drawings and/or reading CAD models for deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with PLCs, SCADA systems, and network infrastructure.
• Ability to travel domestically 75% or more of the year.

• Own the tactical execution of onsite coordination of installation and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, and internal customers to convert technical requirements into deployment execution documents.
• Improve operational metrics and team processes through automation and optimization.
• Independently resolve difficult technical problems during deployment.
• Create and improve standard work documents and operational guidebooks.
• Influence internal and partner teams towards meeting team level goals.
• Develop subject matter expertise in one or more deployment domains.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical assessments.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives with measurable results.
