The CAD Engineer will join the Hardware Tech group to develop full-stack web applications that enhance the Signoff infrastructure for Apple SOC design teams. This role focuses on building and improving Signoff dashboards, CAD flow metrics collection, and data visualization tools. The engineer will also contribute to the development of an AI assistant and integrate modern AI capabilities into the platform. A strong emphasis is placed on software quality, attention to detail, and collaboration with design and CAD teams.

• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with web development frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, or Express.js
• SQL database experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Background in Chip Design, Chip Verification, or CAD
• Experience with embedding models and LLM integration patterns
• Understanding of RAG pipelines, including embeddings, chunking, and retrieval optimization
• Experience with vector databases
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Test-driven development experience in production environments

• Develop, support, and enhance Signoff dashboards and CAD flow metrics collection tools
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs for the Signoff infrastructure
• Develop interactive frontend dashboards for design and CAD teams
• Interface with design and CAD teams to improve the Signoff process
• Contribute to the integration of RAG and AI-powered features into the platform
