Job description
The People Product Management team at Apple is seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Functional Architect to enhance employee service through enterprise technology solutions. This role focuses on product delivery and platform governance, requiring a blend of business strategy, user experience, and technical execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with IS&T partners to translate HR needs into effective platform experiences. A strong understanding of ServiceNow HRSD modules and proven experience in managing functional backlogs are essential.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow HRSD with deep functional knowledge of modules such as Case and Knowledge Management, Employee Center, Employee Journeys, or Employee Document Management.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – HRSD or Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform capabilities, including Flow Designer, Agent Workspace, Advanced Work Assignment, and system integration patterns.
- Demonstrated experience in product delivery and platform governance, specifically managing functional backlogs and writing user stories.
- Outstanding relationship management skills with a track record of partnering closely with engineering/IT organizations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key functional guide and partner to bridge the gap between business strategy, user experience, and technical execution.
- Define functional requirements and map efficient workflows for the ServiceNow HRSD platform.
- Govern the product roadmap and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with IS&T partners to translate human resource needs into scalable platform experiences.
- Manage external contractors or consultants to deliver functional specifications and platform configurations.
Benefits
- Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
