• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Biotechnology, or a closely related field and six years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering, or a Master's degree and four years of experience in the same role.
• Experience developing web applications, web components, and API services using TypeScript, Java technologies, and GraphQL within a financial services environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing responsive, mobile-first applications and APIs for wealth management solutions using Angular and Node.js.
• Experience with monitoring and optimizing web application performance using Real User Monitoring and synthetic monitoring tools.

• Translate and incorporate business vision and strategy into architectural strategy recommendations.
• Participate in high-level, cross-functional architecture design teams.
• Consult on the development and delivery of major technology initiatives for the business unit.
• Oversee the technical implementation of cross-divisional or company architectural components.
• Set vision, goals, and direction for the team and organization.
• Provide leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to multiple teams on complex organization-wide projects.
• Research and recommend new technologies to support the strategic direction of the business unit.
