This position is for a Senior Software Engineer who will design and develop software solutions using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on REST-based microservices. The role involves working with cloud platforms like AWS and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes. The engineer will also be responsible for developing resilient messaging services and ensuring comprehensive documentation for applications. The position requires collaboration across multiple projects and initiatives within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and one year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing financial services applications in an AWS environment.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot framework, API development, Kafka, and SQL.

• Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
• Design applications or subsystems on major projects across multiple platforms.
• Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Assist in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
• Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
