This role involves designing highly available, secure, and scalable multi-region microservices-based solutions in AWS. The position requires building and maintaining Docker images and Kubernetes clusters while providing technical leadership and mentorship to teams. The focus is on promoting a DevOps mentality and establishing best practices for AWS Infrastructure as Code. The candidate will also assist engineering partners with Kafka solutions and develop automation tools using Python.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
• Five years of experience as a Principal Digital Assets Engineer or closely related occupation, or three years with a Master's degree.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and supporting multi-region Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and maintaining production systems with zero downtime.

• Participate in architecture design teams and work closely with engineering partners.
• Develop observability solutions including dashboards, alerts, and synthetics.
• Create comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
• Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
• Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
• Act as a primary liaison for business unit product areas to resolve project and technology issues.
• Mentor junior team members and develop original technical solutions.
