Job description
The Configuration and Troubleshooter role at KLA focuses on configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality. Requirements
- A minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience is required.
- Technical certificate, military technical training experience, or vocational training in a technical discipline is preferred.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with specific semiconductor equipment brands such as ASML, Lam Research, and Applied Materials is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment is required.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting both hardware and software issues in complex manufacturing systems is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and calibrate semiconductor manufacturing equipment to meet production requirements.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues or failures in semiconductor equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment and proactively address potential issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with production teams for process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment configurations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Provide training and support to team members on equipment configuration and troubleshooting procedures.
