Job description
The Advanced Device Development Engineering Manager will lead a team within the Logic Technology Development (LTD) group at Intel, focusing on developing high-volume capable process technologies for semiconductor devices. This role involves designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to meet engineering specifications. The manager will collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful transfer of innovative device architectures into manufacturing. The position requires a strong background in semiconductor processes and device physics.
Requirements
- Experience in the advanced node semiconductor industry in areas such as semiconductor materials, fabrication, or device physics.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related scientific field.
- Ph.D. with 10+ years of experience in the advanced node semiconductor industry or a Master's degree with 15+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of device engineers to develop a high-volume capable process technology that meets performance, yield, and reliability requirements.
- Set priorities for the team to achieve results across boundaries while ensuring an inclusive work environment.
- Work closely with the LTD core program integration and device organization to deliver high-quality Process-Design Kits (PDK).
- Collaborate with the LTD foundry technology engineering group to ensure customer product performance.
- Define robust test structures and programs to validate advanced design rules and extract key device parameters.
- Utilize statistics, data mining, and other analysis techniques to extract insights from electrical test, yield, and fab data.
