The role focuses on enhancing the engineering infrastructure and developer productivity for AMD's software organization, while also leading the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) function. This position aims to maximize resource leverage and ensure high-velocity customer outcomes by translating field intelligence into prioritized engineering roadmaps. The individual will serve as the Voice of the Customer internally, ensuring execution aligns with customer needs. This is a critical position that bridges engineering capabilities with customer engagement.

• Demonstrated track record leading high-impact technical teams within high-stakes environments.
• Understanding of the hardware and software stack from the metal up.
• Deep understanding of commercial drivers such as ARR, Churn, and Margin.
• Experience managing high-stakes crisis situations and executive communications.

• Own developer productivity, engineering velocity, and the internal developer platform for AIG's software organization.
• Manage developer workloads and productivity against GPU capacity, integrating CI/CD and test workflows.
• Establish a clear division of responsibility with IT regarding infrastructure management.
• Build and lead the FDE function for AIG's software organization to optimize AMD software in real workloads.
• Translate deployment friction and customer requirements into prioritized engineering work.
