As a Senior Software Developer at Robinhood, you will be part of the Kubernetes Compute team, focusing on building and operating a scalable container platform. This role emphasizes designing resilient container infrastructure and migrating core workloads to Amazon EKS to enhance platform reliability. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to integrate essential platform capabilities while ensuring high standards of safety and system uptime. The position is based in Toronto, requiring in-person attendance at least three days a week.

• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes control plane and data plane components, including container lifecycle management.
• Experience deploying, debugging, and managing large-scale distributed systems or containerized platforms in a production environment.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS services and managed container environments like Amazon EKS.
• Knowledge of container networking concepts, cluster security protocols, and open-source cloud-native tools.
• Ability to plan and execute technical projects systematically while providing technical guidance to team members.
