The Linux Tools, Integration, and Process team at Qualcomm is looking for a skilled Engineer to design and develop CI/CD systems and enterprise-level tooling. Candidates will engage in various software development activities, including debugging, testing, and integration with engineering tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 2+ years of experience in software automation and enterprise CI/CD environments.
• 2+ years of experience in C#, C, or Python based tools development.
• 1+ years of experience working directly with a major SCM tool and automation.

• Design and develop processes, software, and tools including front-end applications, backend services, databases, middleware, API endpoints, microservices, and standalone solutions.
• Interact closely with cross-functional teams to verify and debug issues and features.
• Engage in design and optimization activities with teams in San Diego and India.
• Participate in application scale-up and deployment activities across the global ecosystem.
• Perform code reviews, developer and unit testing, and propose automated testing solutions.
• Develop integrations with engineering tools and systems, and perform administration and scripting activities in Linux environments.
• Review data from MongoDB, SQL, and Elastic Search to troubleshoot issues.
• Provide direct user support to compliance and legal teams for integration issues.
• Learn and understand the workflows and processes in place for the software development lifecycle, continuous integration, release, and deployment systems.
