Job description
The SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Senior Consultant/Senior Technology Analyst role at EY focuses on delivering SAP PLM solutions while collaborating with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The position is part of the Core Supply Chain team, where the consultant will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves engaging with clients to gather requirements and ensuring that technology solutions meet their needs. Regular travel is expected to build relationships and understand client requirements better.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) is required.
- Typically, 2 to 4 years of related functional experience is necessary.
- At least 2 years of experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or SAP S/4 HANA is required.
- Experience supporting an SAP project or defined workstream in a manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environment is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client-service, and technical-writing skills are needed.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs for SAP S/4HANA PLM solutions.
- Support or lead defined PLM workstreams, workshops, and design sessions.
- Configure and support SAP PLM capabilities, including Document Management System (DMS) and Engineering Change Management (ECM).
- Support integrations between SAP S/4HANA and PTC Windchill.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on configurations and enhancements.
- Develop and execute test scenarios for various testing phases.
- Assist with data validation, cutover activities, and production support.
- Maintain clear project documentation, including process flows and functional designs.
- Track workstream deliverables, risks, dependencies, and issues.
- Support stakeholder readiness and user adoption through training and collaboration.
