As an Entry Level Transportation Engineer / Traffic Engineer-In-Training (EIT) at Jacobs, you will be an integral part of the Traffic Engineering group located in San Antonio, Austin, or Houston, TX. This role focuses on various transportation and traffic engineering projects, including traffic operations, safety analysis, and traffic design. You will utilize advanced traffic engineering software and Big Data to support municipal, state, and federal clients. • Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree.
• EIT certificate, or on track to obtain.
• Previous internships or work experience in traffic/transportation engineering.

• Perform traffic analysis tasks such as data collection, reporting analysis results, and writing technical reports.
• Conduct civil design calculations, sketches, drawings, and technical comparisons as required by assignments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Openroads.
• Research design options and document findings for project engineers and project managers.
• Assist with duties assigned by project engineers and project managers.
• Maintain effective communication with project team members and clients.
