The Process-Mechanical Engineer will work on water and wastewater projects with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. This role is part of a collaborative team within Jacobs' Infrastructure Design Department, based in Corvallis, Oregon. The engineer will engage in various assignments, including planning and designing treatment systems and conducting field inspections. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical projects across the Northwest and the United States.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive process mechanical engineering and project delivery experience with water, wastewater, and/or industrial treatment.
• Strong interest in treatment and/or mechanical system design and operation.
• Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Evaluate pumping, treatment, and process options to determine the best approaches to solve client challenges.
• Plan and design full-scale pumping and treatment systems, including treatment plant improvements for construction.
• Develop facility layouts and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Create construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Conduct data analysis and computer modeling.
