The Process Engineering Intern position at Jacobs is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. The intern will work within the Jacobs Life Sciences group in Cary, NC, and will be paired with a process engineer mentor. This hybrid role focuses on developing skills in reading and creating essential engineering documents such as Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrument Diagrams. Interns will also participate in a training program that connects them with peers and industry experts.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering degree from an accredited university
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship

• Assist in completing project deliverables as part of a project team
• Learn to read, understand, and develop Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrument Diagrams, Equipment Lists, and Equipment Data Sheets
• Participate in the Jacobs Life Sciences North America Process Training Program
• Engage with various departments to build connections and understand the office's overall functions
• Present and summarize the internship experience to peers and management at the conclusion of the program
