Job description

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced professional to join their team focused on the Manufacturing, Test, and Failure Analysis processes for new datacenter servers. The role involves early engagement with engineering groups and manufacturing partners to ensure high-quality product development. The candidate will work closely with factory personnel and engineering teams to drive solutions during prototype builds and implement process improvements. This position requires a strong understanding of complex compute and AI server architectures.

Requirements

  • BS/MS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering and 12+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Solid understanding of complex compute/AI server system architecture.
  • Proven skills and experience in design and manufacture of complex hardware platforms.
  • Excellent complex hardware platforms debugging and rational problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with power and thermal system design for datacenter rack server systems.
  • Excellent multi-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiar with diagnostics/test software as used in a factory setting.
  • Expertise in CPU, GPU, HBM, PCIe and comfortable writing Python code and test scripts.
  • Familiarity with Linux command line.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product development plans.
  • Participate in manufacturing process planning, scheduling, and cost optimization.
  • Provide DFX feedback that results in excellent product quality.
  • Work closely with factory personnel and engineering teams during prototype builds.
  • Review build dashboards to analyze throughput, yields, and failure categories.
  • Develop documentation and SOPs for product assembly, test, and debug/failure analysis.
  • Debug server platforms as per published guidelines.
  • Ensure factory assembly and test plans meet Nvidia’s standards.
