NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineer to enhance GPU system software and improve the software development process. The role involves working on firmware, real-time operating systems, and driver interfaces, as well as the infrastructure that supports them. The engineer will be responsible for carrying new approaches from design through implementation and support. • Proven experience in system software, embedded software, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of meaningful experience.
• Experience writing software in C and scripting to build, test, or run that software.
• Background with embedded software, a real-time operating system, and device drivers.
• Experience delivering software from design through release and support.

• Improve the product and the process used to build, test, and run it.
• Design and implement firmware and real-time operating system changes.
• Develop the driver interface that connects firmware with the rest of the system.
• Utilize current development tools to generate and check code.
• Collaborate with hardware and software partners to resolve issues.
