• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development in financial technology with experience in low latency development in Java.
• Experience of low-latency system design, including performance optimization, concurrency, high-throughput architecture, and network protocols.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.

• Partner with various business and technology stakeholders to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.
• Resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
• Champion and enforce best practices in software development, including automated testing, quality engineering, and performance optimization.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals.
• Help provide mentorship for junior developers within a geographically distributed team of high-performing engineers.
• Leverage Citi's suite of AI-powered development tools throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Contribute to the design, creation and maintenance of robust solutions for platform monitoring and production stability.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance.
