Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Level Testability Engineer to join their Test, Manufacturability, Reliability & Quality team. This role focuses on defining and driving system-level diagnostics, verification, and post-silicon validation for complex semiconductor chips. The engineer will collaborate with various hardware engineering teams to determine coverage needs and improve test infrastructure. The position requires hands-on lab experience and a commitment to continuous improvement in production workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Microelectronics, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, including digital design and signal integrity.
- Validated hands-on lab experience with silicon bring-up and lab debug.
- Experience with Python, BASH, and Linux.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HW engineering teams to determine coverage needs and resolve test conditions.
- Define requirements for software and board teams to support manufacturing screens.
- Co-design testability scope and coverage enhancements for manufacturing testing.
- Prototype and fine-tune speed, power, performance, yield, and quality on pre-production silicon.
- Create key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of new tests.
