This position is for a Quality Assurance professional focused on test automation within the Technology Quality team at Citi. The role involves collaborating with development, product, and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure software quality. The candidate will design and maintain automated test scripts, conduct various types of testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation and a strong understanding of QA processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficient in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming skills in at least one object-oriented language such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, or NUnit.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java.
• Design, write, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues not covered by formal test cases.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure efficient and organized testing.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support agile development practices.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate backend services.
• Perform database validation by writing and executing SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide clear and concise reporting on test progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
• Continuously research and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
