The Senior Embedded Linux Engineer will provide technical leadership in the development and support of platform software for Amazon Devices. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++.
• 1+ years of Android development experience.
• 1+ years of experience in hardware or platform security.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools and techniques.

• Own the software design, documentation, development, engineering approach, delivery, and support of DeviceOS security and privacy.
• Be responsible for the architecture and design of software solutions related to device security and privacy.
• Dive deep into difficult problems, identify root causes, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Specify and develop security detection mechanisms in low-level device software.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and platform teams.
