The Senior Cloud Engineer will be part of the Wallet, Payments and Commerce Cloud Engineering team at Apple, focusing on enhancing the digital wallet experience for customers. The engineer will lead significant pieces of the cloud platform, set technical direction, and ensure high standards of quality and security. • 8+ years of cloud infrastructure and platform engineering experience with a track record of owning systems end-to-end in production.
• Experience building platforms, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong programming proficiency in Golang and Kubernetes Operator pattern.
• Public cloud expertise in AWS or AliCloud.
• Experience with service meshes such as Istio Ambient mode and Cilium.
• 10+ years of work experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
