As a Site Reliability Engineer in the Core Services team at Apple, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Apple’s Backbone Network. This role involves working with hardware, software, and tools used for configuration and monitoring while adhering to DevOps best practices. You will be part of a fast-paced organization that builds critical infrastructure for Apple's services. Your contributions will help maintain the technology that supports billions of customers worldwide.

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Proficient in Linux and networking concepts including TLS/SSL, DNS, and Load Balancers.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases like Oracle or MongoDB.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with security and authentication methods like OAuth, SAML, or SSO.
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

• Ensure the reliability and performance of Apple’s Backbone Network.

• Collaborate with teams across Apple to provide infrastructure that supports global services.
