Job description
The System Verification CoDesign Engineer at SCG will work at the intersection of design, architecture, and productization across various markets including Gaming and Automotive. This hands-on role focuses on developing verification collaterals and automation infrastructure to validate system-level speed features. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and reliability while leading the debug of complex silicon issues. This position offers an opportunity to impact product quality and delivery timelines significantly.
Requirements
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a related hardware engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, frequency and power characterization, and PPA analysis.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and/or Perl.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with system architects and hardware teams to co-design system-level speed features.
- Translate hardware features into verification techniques for full coverage across testing flows.
- Perform closed loop validation by correlating silicon behavior against design expectations.
- Define and refine pre- and post-silicon bring-up flows to ensure product quality.
- Design and implement automation tools for system speed modeling.
