Job description
The Fixed Income research associate program at Fidelity is designed to recruit talented candidates to support bond and money market investment processes while providing foundational skills for a successful career in investing. Associates will work closely with senior analysts to provide in-depth sector coverage, build financial models, and draft research materials. The program lasts four years, preparing associates for more senior roles or top graduate programs. Fidelity's Fixed Income division focuses on maximizing risk-adjusted returns for clients through fundamental research and quantitative analysis.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Progress towards the CFA designation is a plus.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills, including experience with financial modeling.
- Demonstrated interest in investing and critical thinking abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Results-driven and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
