The Software Development Engineer will be part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, focusing on designing, building, and operating customer-facing capabilities for enterprise agents. This role involves developing client software that runs on various operating systems and browsers, ensuring secure access and user experience. The team is dedicated to evolving the client experience for Amazon WorkSpaces, which delivers remote desktops and applications to millions of users. The position offers the opportunity to influence how people and AI agents interact with enterprise applications while working in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Experience leading large, fast-moving projects
• Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience architecting, securing, and operating Amazon Web Services and client software

• Design, build, and operate customer-facing capabilities across native and web clients.
• Advance the client that enterprise agents will work through while supporting a system relied on by millions.
• Own features from design through production and collaborate with teams across AWS.
