As a Senior Research Scientist in Analytical Development at Elanco, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the analytical and dissolution control strategies for the company's small molecule portfolio. You will be part of the Technical Development team, contributing to the drug development pipeline and ensuring compliance with global quality and regulatory standards. This position emphasizes scientific leadership and mentoring, fostering a culture of excellence within the analytical development function. Your work will directly impact the commercialization of new animal health products.

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or M.S. with 10 years, or B.S. with 15 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in chromatographic (HPLC/UPLC), spectroscopic (UV/VIS), and dissolution method development.
• Extensive knowledge of current quality and regulatory requirements for new drug products.
• Demonstrated track record of successful interactions with regulatory agencies on analytical topics.

• Develop, validate, and deliver robust analytical and dissolution methods and specifications.
• Drive the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to advance the drug development process.
• Interpret complex scientific data and effectively report and present technical results.
• Author and support the generation of international registration documents.
• Mentor and coach emerging technical talent within the analytical development function.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal and external quality standards and guidelines.
