• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Help define the system architecture and implement specific components
• Build highly available, secure, scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems
• Contribute to planning, architecture design, implementation, testing, and process improvement
• Participate in on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every two months
