The Privacy Engineering Manager II will oversee the administration of the GBO Privacy Working Group, ensuring compliance with Google's privacy principles while supporting business growth. This role involves leading a high-performing team to transform privacy operations across the Global Business Organization. The manager will collaborate with various teams to develop privacy-safe designs and navigate ambiguity to influence stakeholders. The position requires a strategic leader who can communicate technical risks effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience working in a privacy related field such as security engineering or compliance engineering.
• 2 years of experience managing, mentoring, and developing a team.
• 2 years of experience managing resources to solve technical and operational problems.

• Lead the team responsible for developing and maintaining the privacy program for GBO.
• Partner with teams across GBO to ensure compliance with privacy policies.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to launch and scale strategic initiatives.
