As a Software Engineer on the Anti-distillation Investigations team at Google DeepMind, you will focus on building detection methods and interventions to protect Gemini from unauthorized distillation. You will work alongside a team of Machine Learning and Neuroscience researchers, tackling complex challenges in AI technology. Your role will involve creating systems for agent testing and developing test problems within physics simulators. This position requires a strong foundation in software engineering and a passion for AI.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in a Software Engineering or Development capacity.
• 2 years of experience in anti-abuse investigations and enforcement.
• 2 years of experience in training and deploying machine learning models and agents for anti-abuse.
• Strong programming skills in either Python or C++.

• Investigate unauthorized distillation of Gemini.
• Execute enforcements against unauthorized distillation of Gemini.
