Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. is seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in the Android platform and on-device AI frameworks. The role involves prototyping, designing, developing, and supporting embedded and cloud software solutions for advanced mobile use cases. Candidates will work on enhancing the Android Platform stack and integrating on-device AI solutions. This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Industry experience using data structures and algorithms to ship projects at scale.
• Experience with development of Object-Oriented Software using C++, Java, or Rust.
• Solid understanding of Operating System Concepts and Concurrency.
• Strong proficiency in using git for software development.
• Experience working with embedded Linux and/or Android.
• Experience in Android SDK, NDK, and Android OS concepts and architecture.

• Prototype, design, develop, and support commercialization of embedded and cloud software solutions.
• Add features to the Android Platform stack, including Application Layer, Middleware, and Native.
• Integrate on-device LLMs and on-device vector databases.
• Debug and analyze software issues, including crash dumps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge mobile solutions.
