The Senior Automotive Software Engineer at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. will focus on developing and integrating Android Automotive software features for next-generation automotive experience platforms. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in Android, Android Automotive, embedded systems, or automotive software platforms.
• Strong understanding of Android framework, application lifecycle, and debugging tools.
• Experience with system integration testing and debugging across software, middleware, operating systems, and hardware interfaces.

• Design, develop, validate, and debug Android and automotive software applications.
• Perform system integration testing and SIT-level debugging by analyzing logs and system behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Support software integration, validation, and demo readiness activities on target hardware.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering quality across development activities.
