This position is for the Post Silicon Engineering group at Qualcomm, focusing on developing test solutions for highly integrated System on Chips (SOCs). The role involves defining and executing test methodologies and characterizing High Speed SERDES Interfaces. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and assist in hardware design and debugging. A strong emphasis is placed on delivering quality work and staying updated on industry trends.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in High Speed Silicon Validation.
• Good understanding of VLSI technologies, CMOS analog and digital integrated circuits, and mixed-signal semiconductor physics.
• Knowledge of High Speed test and characterization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes and TDRs/VNAs.

• Define and execute the development of test methodologies for High Speed SERDES Interfaces.
• Develop and execute characterization plans to optimize design parameters and validate electrical compliance.
• Drive first silicon bring up and debug to qualify designs fabricated at external foundries.
• Perform technical data analysis of parametric performance over various operating conditions.
• Assist in hardware design and debug power integrity and signal integrity issues.
